Tes has been found!

As I write this, a freshly bathed Tes is asleep at my feet. A family near the golf course about 3/4 of a mile from our house called to say they'd found her around 11 this morning. She was overjoyed to see Linton when he picked her up. Besides being utterly filthy, she seemed completely unharmed. Of only she could tell us of her adventure! My guess is that she managed to track down every discareded chicken bone and pizza crust along her crazy path.

We are so grateful for all the help and support we received while she was missing. My brother-in-law spent Friday afternoon helping us get signs posted. Other friends help us canvas the neighborhood this morning. Nancy Despeaux (who heads up a volunteer organization in the area that helps find lost dogs) spent much time on the phone and over email sharing her wealth of knowledge about how to find lost dogs. We are touched by the outpouring of support from her and other fellow dog owners we never even met. What a wonderful community we have!

Flyer

A few people offered to post more flyers for us. I've shared it through google docs here.
You can also download smaller "business cards" to hand out here.

Friday morning update

No sign of Tes yet. We have put flyers up across downtown Vienna and the surrounding neighborhoods. Emails have gone out to dog lovers and neighbors in Vienna. Posts are up on Craigslist, facebook, HART, and Lost Dog Rescue. Thanks so much to everyone who is keeping an eye out. We still haven't had a sighting of Tes. If anyone sees her, please call 703-554-4973 or 703-785-8933.

More Pictures of Tes

Here are more pictures of Tes. She's a fast runner, and could be as many as 2 miles or more from the Vienna Whole Foods at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Park.

Have you seen Tes?

Our beloved dog Tesla ("Tes") escaped from us in the parking lot of the Vienna Whole Foods at 8:00 p.m. on January 21, 2010. Will you help us find her? She is wearing a red leash and a black collar with a nametag, her rabies tag, and her license. She's very friendly, and can be lured into your backyard or garage with a treat. Please forward this link to anyone you know who lives in Vienna, Virginia. We are so grateful for your help! Please post leads here or call us at (703) 554-4973.
